So quotes the banner displayed in Mogadishu during training meetings aimed at exponents, members and representatives of civil society and community leaders, held from 18 to 20 May 2023.
The meetings were attended by over 80 civil society actors and community leaders.
Days of exchange and sharing of ideas and opinions for the construction of sustainable, equitable and inclusive development paths in Somalia.
Several interrelated topics were discussed, such as: Poverty and the socio-economic benefits of formalizing the informal economy; active participation in the construction of peace paths; decent work and elimination of the exploitation of child labor and gender gap as fundamental elements for the stabilization of the country.
Good practices, benefits and socio-economic impacts of decent, inclusive and formal work were examined and proposed by all those present.
